Truck Traffic

Here is a link to the Daily News article about truck traffic from the frac sand mines.  Very interesting on the wear and tear they are going to create and who is to pay.

Welcom to the Site

Welcome to Winona NCAB.  We are a group of neighbors concerned about blasting in the Winona, MN Biesanz Quarry.  There has always been blasting due to quarry removal of rock, but since last August there has been over 100 blasts that shake our homes and disturb our quality of living.

Bisanz had had a change in ownership and scope.  They are now blasting away materials to get at the frac sand for removal.

So this blog/website is going to be dedicated to posting information about blasting, frac sand mining, meeting dates and public hearings and any other related information that people need to know about what is happening in there backyard.
